Can it be 50 years already?? Even though I only attended PHS my junior and senior years, I have many fond memories of the school and friends I met there. My husband, Joel, and I are looking forward to the 50th reunion. He was a Navy pilot whom I met after graduating PHS. We now have a son who recently moved to Pensacola, so it seems things are coming full circle for us! We were just there for the birth of our 2nd grandchild, Nathan Joel, born Dec. 27th at Sacred Heart Hospital.  We live on Amelia Island in the town of Fernandina Beach just north of Jacksonville.  After 44 years I'm back in Florida!!

I was at my family condo at Perdido Key last weekend. I had a "mini reunion" with Anne Cotton Barber and Annette (Nettie Kireta) Roberts.
We had such a good time on Saturday that we got together again the next day.
I'm looking forward to the big Reunion in May.

See all of you at the reunion.

I look forward to attending the reunion and seeing "old" friends.  Thanks to all who are involved in putting this together.   I have retired from Real Estate and Tom and I spend about half our time at our Perdido Key Condo.  We have lots of friends in the area and enjoy the beach life.  Would like to hear from anyone, email me at hprescot@bellsouth.net.

I cannot believe it has been 50 years!! I was married in Pensacola in January 1964 and then moved to California and have been here ever since. My husband was a Marine and then a pilot for Pan American Airways for 25 years until 1991 when Pan Am went out of business. We have two children, Doug and Jennifer and two grandchildren. I am still working as a medical transcriptionist for a Radiology group in Orange, California, something I have been doing since 1981. I keep very busy with work, some travel and have my mother who is 89-years old nearby. I plan to be at the reunion and thank you to all the people who have taken this big task upon themselves to get everybody together for the the 50Th.

Hi, I attended PHS  in 1957 & part of 1958 & then transferred to Brent Christian where I met my husband Bobby Tidwell. We both attended Tennessee Temple University after graduation.
We have been married 48 years & have 3 sons & 5 grandchildren.
My sister Sandra Bullington graduated from PHS in 1957. She won several beauty pageants in Pensacola.
I would love to hear from some of my friends from Blount Jr. high. Also does anyone know the whereabouts of Jo Ann ( Calhoun )?
Jeannie Edwards ( Fabbian ) &  I have  been back in touch  & shared yearbooks & good memories from the fifties. I am planning on coming to the reunion with her & am looking forward to seeing familar fellow students.

I attended the 25th reunion and it was fun.  I plan to be at the 50th also.  I hope to see Joan Gaherty, Stella Pennise and Yvonne Hammock to name a few.  The large name tag idea is great.  I had a chance to see Conner Cagle just a few months before his death.  I was joking with him and asked "Conner, is it true what they say you did under the bleachers at the foot ball games?"  With a big smile he said, "not sure what I did  - but it's probably true." He was bigger than life.
A great guy.

See you all in May 2009.

Mary

What a creative website, Don.  Johnny is quite a detective.  Thank you for providing this incredible means of contacting our classmates of '59. I moved back to Pensacola in '85 and am  teaching Spanish at Washington High School.  Looking foreward to seeing what 50 years has done to the last class before the world changed forever.
At the reunion, I hope to hear DR. Michael Arenson play the piano,  Cetti play the trumpet, and Connor sing. We have so much talent in our class.  What would you like to contribute to this special affair? Send in your suggestions to the committee.
Jeannie

I am from PHS '60 but heard from Don Coleman and he said I should stop by and say "Hi"

I have been reading about classmates from '59 and surprised how many I  remember.

My class has had a reunion every 5 yrs. and I attended several --- they were soooo much fun.

Know you will have a wonderful reunion-- I would like to encourage anyone who is thinking about not attending to go-- people change a lot over 50yrs. there will be so many whom you have forgotten -- don't forget your glasses and I suggestion having large name tags.

Thanks Don and Johnny.  With all the work you guys are doing no one will have an excuse for missing our 50th.  I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and talking about the great class we had at a great school.  Also, maybe we need to think about some kind of tribute to those who are no longer with us.  They will always be a part of us.  Looking forward to see all of you.
